What does OmniWAN do?

OmniWAN applies cutting edge SD-WAN technology against a single or multiple ISP links to improve overall user experience.  This includes Quality of Service, ISP line optimization, bi-directional application prioritization, algorithm based line degradation management.

QoS (Quality-of-Service) is applied to traffic bidirectionally to ensure the right traffic, such as voice and other low-latency dependent applications, are prioritized.  By steering traffic so that important applications have preferred bandwidth, lowered tiered apps with bulk transfers are prevented from saturating the available throughput upstream, making for an optimal user experience.

The Optimization process puts each ISP connection through rigorous tests to determine the best performance based on highest speed achieved while keeping latency, packet loss, jitter at minimal acceptable levels.  Quality is enhanced as OmniBridge keeps the lines from being pushed past their limits of useful bandwidth.  This is what we refer to as "Dynamic Guardrails".

Note: The ideal time to perform "Optimization" on DSL, Cable an other shared ISP services, is at times of least load since they will be the cleanest at that time compared to normal business hours.

Without OmniWAN speeds are limited to 150/150.
